New Alternatives Fund Introduces a New No Load Investor Share Class

Melville, NY, December 29, 2014 New Alternatives Fund, a socially responsible mutual fund emphasizing investment in renewable energy and energy conservation, will introduce a new no-load Investor share class which will be available on January 2, 2015. The new shares will trade under the symbol NAEFX. New Alternatives, founded in 1982, is the first U.S. mutual fund to focus on alternative energy and the environment. The Fund will continue to offer its original “A” share with a front-end load. These shares are also available with a load waiver when purchased through registered investment advisors or as part of an institutional retirement plan. Originally incorporated as a New York State Corporation, the Fund has recently converted to a Delaware Trust.
